5 - Suffering with Christ.

The Apostle Paul wrote in his Epistle to the ROMANS c. 8: 14; 16-17

14 "For all who are led by the Spirit of God are children of God.
16 For the Spirit himself himself testifies with our spirit that we are children of God.
17 And if we are children, then heirs, heirs of God and joint heirs with Christ;
if indeed we suffer with him, we may be also glorified with him. "

Lately I've been intrigued by the requirement issued in verse 17 To be joint heir with Christ, namely to suffer with Him.
I had not noticed before.

I firmly believe that the Spirit knows when we receive a revelation from him, through the Word.
not surprising, however, Jesus himself warned his disciples that in the next, they would share in his sufferings.

Thus, he says, in Matthew 5: 10-12
10 "Happy those who are persecuted for righteousness, for the kingdom of heaven is theirs.
11 happy are you when you revile you and persecute you falsely say, all kinds of evil against you because of me.
12 Rejoice and be glad , because your reward is great in heaven;
for so they persecuted the prophets who were before you . "

Jesus speaks to his disciples as prophets, so all may prophesy (but do not receive any call from a prophetic ministry).

In 2 Timothy 3: 12 we read:
" All who live godly in Christ Jesus shall suffer persecution. "

We understand that this suffering is accepted, due to the cross of Jesus, aims to be glorified with Him.
be partakers of His divine nature , by redemption through His blood, his blood shed for the forgiveness of our sins;
Advertise his kingdom and his righteousness, taking part in the sufferings rejection, contempt, misunderstanding, hatred of name calling and insults that Jesus endured, were intended,
to be glorified with Him.

There is nothing paradoxical about that suffering with Christ, is associated with a state of joy, joy in the happiness and glory.

After the intervention of Gamaliel, a Pharisee teacher of the law, the Sanhedrin, remember the reaction of the apostles, in ACTS 5: 40-41
40 ... "had called the apostles, they were beaten with rods, they forbade them to speak for Jesus, and let them go.
41 The apostles withdrew from before the Sanhedrin, rejoicing that they were worthy of suffer dishonor for the name of Jesus. "

The message of the Sermon on the Mount, had been well received in their hearts.

toward us who believe in infinite greatness of the power of God manifested effectively by virtue of its strength Father of glory,

20 " has wrought in Christ when he raised him from the dead, and in doing
sit at his right hand in the heavenly places,
21 ; above all rule and all authority, all power, dignity, and every name that is named, not only in this century, but in the next century.
22 He put all things under his feet, and he gave it to supreme head of the Church,
23 which is his body, the fullness of him who fills all in all. "
EPHESIANS 1: 20-23

Praise the Lord, it has been made lucky recipients of that glory with Him, because :

6 "He raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus,
7 to show in ages to come the exceeding riches of his grace in kindness toward us in Jesus Christ. "
EPHESIANS 2: 6-7

That is for our position in Christ, established in places Celestial, which allows us to walk this earth in his victory, but look what Paul says in Romans 8 : 18

18 "I believe that our present sufferings can not be compared with the glory which shall be revealed to us. "

The Bible says in 1 Peter 4: 12-14

12 "Beloved, do not be surprised, as though some strange thing happens to you, the fiery trial which is among you to test you.
13 Rejoice On the contrary, from you to the sufferings of Christ, that ye also rejoice and be glad when his glory is revealed.
14 If you are reproached for the name of Christ, happy are because the Spirit of Glory, the Spirit of God rests upon you. "

Prophetically, we know that the persecution of Christians will crack more worldwide.
must prepare ourselves.

How many in our western countries live their Christian life by taking part in the sufferings of Christ?

We see in verse 12 quoted above, that God raises the furnace to test us, Christ Is not the author and finisher of our faith?

At the same time, it brings together our enemies for their trial:
Psalm 23: 5
"You prepare a table before me
In front of my opponents."

For now, it behooves us, as Paul advised Timothy:
25 ... "gently straighten the opponents in the hope that God will give them repentance leading to knowledge of truth,
26 and that, back to their senses, they will emerge from the snares of the devil, who seized on them to submit to his will. "
2 Timothy 2: 25-26

If the Lord anointed our heads and our cup runneth over, it is possible.

I read the testimony of a servant of God who had expressed surprise This absence of pain.
But there are answers to that.

____ Some live their faith in religion or religiosity, led by the traditions of men and not by the Spirit, receiving a theological education, a logos, which does not life , based on some truths biblical and other, which has twisted the meaning, they do not worry the devil.
If there is no Spirit, there is no revelation, Rhema.

But MATHIEU 4: 4 says:

"Man not live by bread alone, but by every word (rhema) that comes from the mouth of God. "

and the Apostle Paul says to his brothers in faith Corinthians:

1" And I, brethren, when I went home, not with lofty words or of wisdom that I went to announce the testimony of God.
2 For I have not had a thought to know anything among you that Jesus Christ and Christ crucified .
3 And I was with you in a state of weakness, fear and much trembling
4 and my speech and my preaching were not in persuasive words of wisdom but in demonstration of Spirit and power,
5 that your faith might not rest on human wisdom but on God's power. "
1 Corinthians 2: 1-5

and a little later in 1 CORINTHIANS 4: 17, 20 , he said:

17 ..." I sent you Timothy, who is my beloved son and faithful in the Lord and he will remind you what are my ways in Christ, which is how I teach everywhere in every church.
20 For the kingdom of God does not consist in words but in power. "

Do we see the glorious power of the Holy Spirit manifested in our meetings?

____ If some have become lukewarm, negligent, not living godly in Jesus Christ, or love the world and its desires if they do not focus on the word of truth and prefer to stay in the compromise, they do not worry the devil.

If you do not want to commit to live godly in Christ Jesus, is it not through fear of suffering?
happens when the opposition decides to go against the tide, we take a position as a sentinel at his guard post to defend sound doctrine, truth, the teachings of the apostles.

We have said in ACTS 2: 42

"They continued steadfastly in the apostles' teaching" (not pastors) and God raises still true today and other departments in cities EPHESIANS 4: 11

11 "And he gave some to be apostles, some prophets, some to be evangelists, some pastors and teachers,
12 for the perfecting of the saints for the work of the ministry and the edifying of the body of Christ
13 until we all attain to the unity of faith and knowledge of the Son of God, the perfect man, the perfect measure of Christ
14 so that we are no longer children, tossed and carried about with every wind of doctrine by the sleight of men, by their craftiness in means of seduction,
15 but speaking the truth in love, may grow up in all respects, the who is the head, Christ. "

" Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today and forever " Hebrews 13: 8
and is the only leader of his church , from Pentecost until He returns.

Let us freely exercised these departments in the assemblies?

I am reassured to know that the gates of hell shall not prevail against the true Church of Christ.

But we worry doctrinal compromises that leave doors open
to the action of the Babylonian spirit, the spirit of the antichrist, in many churches have become apostate.

With the spirit of meekness that the Holy Spirit gives me , call a spade a spade.

Those who are truly called by God, hear the message of reform that God creates by the Spirit in these end times, in the heart of his servants.

The LORD of hosts, the God of Israel spoke to his people, his holy prophets,
when he departed from Him by the prophet Jeremiah ( 7: 3, 7: 5; 18: 11; 26: 13 ), he said:

" Amend your ways and your doings , hear the voice of the Lord your God , and the LORD repented of the evil that he has pronounced against you. " JEREMIAH 26: 13

God is Love and is also a Judge. We arrive after the time of his patience.

The Apostle Peter exhorts the prophet and beloved

16 ... "if anyone suffers as a Christian, let him not be ashamed, instead it glorifies God because of this name.
17 For it is when the trial will begin at the house of God . But if it starts with us, what shall the end be of them that obey not the gospel of God?
18 And if the righteous are saved with difficulty, what will become of the ungodly and the sinner?
19 Thus, those who suffer according God's will entrust their souls to the faithful Creator in doing what is right. "
1 Peter 4: 16-19

We need to be strengthened and urged them about our faith, " to nobody was moved by these afflictions: for ye yourselves know that we are destined to it. "
THESSALONIANS 1 3: 3

Jesus warns the believer a difficult relationship with the world JOHN 15: 18-21

18 "If the world hates you, know that it hated me before you.
19 If ye were of the world, the world would love his own: but because ye are not of the world, and I have chosen you out of the world, because of this the world you hates.
20 Remember the word that I said unto you, The servant is not greater than his master. If they have persecuted me, they will also persecute you if they have kept my word, they will keep yours also.
21 But they will do all these things because of my name, because they do not know him who sent me. "

Our great hope is the imminent return of Jesus as the Bridegroom. Receive these words that the Apostle Jacques addressed to the twelve tribes of the Dispersion as a consolation

7 "Be patient , brothers, until the advent of Lord. Here the farmer awaits the precious fruit of the earth, being patient with him, until he received the first rains and the late season.
8 You also be patient , Establish your hearts, for the coming of the Lord is near .
9 Do not complain to one another, brethren, that ye be not judged: behold the judge is at the door.
10 Take my brothers for models of suffering and patience, the prophets who spoke in name of the Lord.
11 Behold, we count them happy who have suffered patiemment.Vous have heard of patience of Job, and you saw the end that the Lord gave him, because the Lord is merciful and compassionate "
James 5: 7-11

Dear Beloved, Grace and peace be yours in abundance through the knowledge of God and our Lord Jesus
!
